Description
The overdrive gear set for X-Maxx® and XRT® replaces the standard transmission gears with a 24-tooth input gear and 47-tooth output gear. The overdrive gear set increases the upper range of gearing options beyond standard high-speed gears for aftermarket low Kv motors. This gear set makes a significant change to the final drive ratio, effectively adding 5-6 teeth to the pinion gear.
CAUTION!
This gear set is intended for advanced drivers only with previous experience and knowledge of large radio controlled vehicles capable of high speed and acceleration. This gear set is not intended for use on a stock vehicle without making the proper adjustments to the motor pinion, spur gear, tire size, and/or power system.
