At 26″ long, Disruptor is perfectly sized to be quick and agile on small ponds and stable in open water. Disruptor is purpose-built by Traxxas for the wildest stunts and unstoppable fun—all with Rapid Right self-righting security.
Hull and Body
26″ Deep-V Hull: Lightweight, injection-molded ABS construction with internal buttresses and bracing for strength. Pre-applied graphics for aesthetics.
Rigid Injection-Molded Clipless Hatch: Features four quick-release hatch nuts (with tool) and a foam seal to repel water. Includes optional wingnuts for secure closure.
Electronics and Performance
40+ MPH with Single 4s LiPo Battery: Capable of reaching high speeds with a single 4s LiPo battery.
TQ 2.4 GHz Transmitter: Full-size 2-channel transmitter with a comfortable design, precise long-range control, and a 3-channel micro receiver with fail-safe security. Includes a patented waterproof receiver box.
Self-Righting System
Rapid Right Self Righting: Automatically rights the boat when overturned, requiring no special skills.
Power and Control
VXL-4s Marine Speed Control: Water-cooled aluminum heat sink with an innovative waterproof design. Offers programmable drive profiles, including Sport Mode and Training Mode, and built-in two-stage low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries.
Brushless Outrunner Motor: 14-pole design optimized for marine applications, featuring ultra high-temperature sintered Neodymium magnets and efficient high-speed ball bearings.
Battery and Driveline
Extra-Long 180 mm Battery Tray: Centralized battery weight for better balance, with hook-and-loop straps to secure various battery sizes.
Driveline: Direct drive with a 0.15-inch flex cable, quick-release motor collet, blue-anodized aluminum drive strut, and low-maintenance bushings.
Steering and Trim
Steering: High-torque waterproof 2056 servo with a blue-anodized aluminum rudder.
Trim Tabs and Turn Fins: Precision-cut stainless steel trim tabs and turn fins, with stainless steel hex hardware used throughout for durability.

What You’ll Need:
Disruptor requires a 4-cell LiPo battery for maximum performance. 2 and 3-cell LiPo batteries are optional.
Traxxas EZ-Peak Live (2971) is recommended for easy and fast charging performance.
Four AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter.
