Description
The GT Zaskar LT 29″ Pro is a comfortable mountain bike with a rigid frame and suspension fork suitable for long rides.
The suffix LT stands for Long Travel, and this formerly typical XC/marathon bike now features a 140mm suspension fork and a sharper geometry.
The head angle is now 65° and the seat angle is 76°, and the rear structure has been modified to a total of 440mm. The wheels remain 29″ and the signature Triple Triangle frame design has been preserved.
In the Pro version, the bike is equipped with a Shimano Deore/XT set and Shimano MT420 hydraulic brakes.
Triple Triangle
Triple Triangle is the construction technology of GT bike frames. This small triangular shape in the frame reduces rear flex, increases wheel liveliness and minimizes vibration transfer. The seat tube has a double joint with the top frame tube, and the seat stays form a stiffer and smaller rear triangle rear structure that increases handling precision. The triple triangle also provides more tire room and better power transfer to the rear wheel.
Trail Tuned Geo
The longer wheelbase and slack head tube angle of the Zaskar LT keep it stable at high speeds, making it more than capable of overcoming any obstacle on any trail. Its upright seat tube angle keeps the rider over the pedals for better climbing efficiency. Up or down, the Zaskar LT is ready to rip.
