It’s a tried, tested, and true staple of our store, and of city bikes around the world. Renowned for their longevity, the Marathon will keep you rolling for years without thinking about your tires. Because there’s nothing that slows you down more than a flat.
Schwalbe Marathon is the archetypal high quality touring tire. The highly elastic GreenGuard layer is 3 mm thick. One third of the GreenGuard is made up of recycled latex products. The “Anti-Aging” sidewall can withstand the typical cracking that results from overloading due to insufficient inflation pressure for much longer. For everyday use, we recommend Schwalbe for virtually every city rider, and bike.
We stock 16”, 20”, 26”, 27”, 700c, and 29” Marathon tires in inventory, with many other sizes available by special order (usually a day or two).
